First, my heart goes out to the Jewish community given the horrible murder of a young couple in Washington D.C. this week. In the past few years many NYC parents have reached out to me about antisemitic incidents at NYC schools, I am always available if this is happening in your kid’s school.

CEC 2 voted down resolution to share PTA funds with other schools
This week CEC 2 voted no to Resolution 273 which wants to make it mandatory for all NYC PTAs to share their funds with other schools.
I voted no because NYC already spends almost $37,000 per student - the problem is not a lack of money but how the schools are managed. Here is what I said:
