Protecting CEC District 2 from Disruption and Antisemitism Concerns
I serve at CEC 2 and for the past year a group of radical activists have hijacked the meetings. They have prevented parents from speaking, councilors from conducting business, and even accosted council members who had to be protected by the NYPD.
A group of parents is particularly concerned about the prospect of Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine appointing the group’s leader to the CEC. Mark Levine actually recognized her at his State of Borough address on March 23rd and showed a picture of her using a keffiyeh at our CEC meeting.
